AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) – The SummerNight Downtown Art Wander is Friday, June 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the downtown Auburn amusement district.
The celebration capabilities perform of local and regional artists, stay tunes, merchant specials, children’s activities and a culinary contest.
The Town of Auburn/Jan Dempsey Local community Arts Center, Auburn Arts Association, Saint Dunstan’s Episcopal Church and the Auburn Downtown Retailers Association host the party each year.
Through SummerNight, downtown retailers and dining places keep on being open up soon after regular small business hrs and individuals of all ages are inspired to shop, dine, unwind and get pleasure from the arts in downtown Auburn.
JDCAC Cultural Arts Director Sara Hand Custer encourages everybody to expertise a tropical themed SummerNight Downtown Art Walk.
“This year’s party will function a performance by Mahealani Polynesian Amusement together with Sons of Sailors, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band,” Custer explained.
“Come early as we will be passing out no cost Hawaiian themed merchandise. We’ll have about 60 artists promoting their work, palms-on art things to do for kids in entrance of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, prolonged shopping hrs with our downtown merchants and you can even sample things from our “Crazy for Coconuts” culinary contest at the Auburn Arts Affiliation booth.”
