Denver Zoo welcomes 3 new animals, including a baby otter, golden lion tamarin and giraffe

The Denver Zoo has welcomed a trio of new arrivals from 3 various species this summertime, together with a new child toddler otter, golden lion tamarins and a giraffe.

In accordance to the zoo, a pair of Asian compact-clawed otters gave beginning to a male pup on July 1.

The new spouse and children of otters are to “stay at the rear of the scenes” in their den box for a few months right until the new child pup gains the ability to open up his eyes and move on his possess, the zoo says.

This new otter can be seen by guests via the zoo’s Otter Den Box Cam, established up in the El Pomar Foundation Village Corridor.

According to Jake Kubié, a spokesman for the zoo, the otter dad is named Pintar, and the mom is Bu, even though the newborn “does not have a name but, but we are doing the job on that. Hoping to finalize it up coming 7 days.”
