Holiday season can be stressful from gift shopping, planning a party to hosting friends and family. This year try to have a relaxing holiday. I’m sure you’re wondering how? If you’re wondering how to have a relaxed and stress free holiday season and party, keep scrolling to check out some tips.
Whether you are heading to a holiday party, New Year’s Eve celebration, or chilling at home, one thing we all have in common is wanting to be surrounded by those that we love: friends and family. During the holiday season, there are days we want to be in full glam while wearing the best outfits. On the other hand, there are moments and days when you just want to unwind and relax with your friends and family over good food, wine, and chit-chat. This holiday will be a mix of both for a lot of us including myself. From dressing up in this yellow sequined dress for cocktails, hosting a New Year’s Eve party with friends to chilling in pajamas or loungewear, I am definitely ready for all the fun this holiday will bring.
Entertaining during the holiday doesn’t have to be stressful. I know it can be daunting trying to create a perfect holiday party; but please limit the stress. You can start by staying away from the word “party” but rather call it a “get-together”. The word get-together makes the event feel at ease, stress-free, and easygoing. I love having my friends over for a get-together.
When gathering at home this holiday with friends, find something comfortable and cute. It can be either this pajama pants and knit long-sleeve top or loungewear sets over game nights. There are lots of upgraded loungewear sets that you can wear including this sleepers feather set or this fun pajamas as seen on my friends and me.
WHAT TO WEAR TO RELAX AT HOME THIS HOLIDAY
Here are tips on How to have a relaxed and stress free holiday
- Call it a get-together rather than a party
- Ask for help. Assign tasks to different friends who are great in different areas. I can always trust my friend Abby with bringing the best drinks. You friends are willing to help make the get-together a fun and memorable day. Be ok with accepting help.
- Simplify the decor. The decor doesn’t have to be over the top or super expensive. There’s nothing candles and flowers can fix.
- Go for Charcuterie boards: Earlier this year, I offered to make Charcuterie board for a friend’s birthday get-together. It was amazing! Charcuterie boards are a great way to have different spreads of bit size foods, fruits and veggies for guests to nibble on throughout the day.
