The 20th yearly Art on the Square showcased proficient artists, substantial crowds and incredibly hot weather conditions this weekend.

Far more than 100 artists descended on downtown Belleville for the yearly party that included performs in ceramics, glass, blended media, painting, drawing/printmaking, sculpture, jewellery, fantastic craft, digital/graphic structure, photography and wood.

Carol Bartle, co-director of Art on the Sq. alongside with Stephanie Dorris, was thrilled with the weekend’s festivities.

“Everything has gone terrific,” Bartle mentioned Sunday afternoon. “The artists are happy. The individuals coming to obtain the art are pleased. So everybody is satisfied.”

Bartle also mentioned the remarkable artwork.

“We have fantastic art,” she reported. “It’s just incredible the array of artwork that we have. I’ve talked to about a dozen people today strolling down the street and they are blown away by the quality of the artwork right here.”

Finally, Bartle explained Art on the Sq. is extra than just an artwork present, it is a showcase for downtown Belleville and an economic driver.
