The JEE Main 2022 is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The application form of the JEE Main 2022 is not yet released by the exam conducting authority. The application form will be released via online mode. JEE aspirants are recommended to visit the official website regularly so that they won’t miss any important updates.

Since the exam is conducted in 4 sessions, the JEE Main application form will be released in several stages. Only one application form is provided for each student. The applications of those who submit more than one application form will be rejected. So students should submit only one application. Following are some of the important documents needed for filling the application form:

  • 10th-grade certificate
  • 12th-grade certificate
  • Aadhaar card 
  • Scanned copy of the signature 
  • Scanned copy of the passport-sized photograph
  • Phone number and a valid email ID
  • Debit card, credit card or e-challan details

JEE Main Registration

As soon as the registration window gets activated on the official website of the JEE Main, the link for the JEE Main registration will be visible. The candidate should enter the details such as 

name, date of birth, nationality, identification type, state, and gender of the applicant. After entering all the required details, enter the security pin and click on the submit button. After registering successfully, candidates will be redirected to the JEE Main application form page. They have an option to select the medium of the question paper. They have to enter personal details like the name of the candidate, name of parent, nationality, state of eligibility, date of birth, category, gender, etc. Aadhaar number, place of residence, and mailing address are mandatory. All the details related to the qualifying examination, like school name, school address, Class 10 and Class 12 passing year, etc., should be entered in the academic details section.

The students have to set a password before submitting the JEE Main form. This password will be required in the future to sign in to the portal. Uploading documents

The students should upload the scanned images, passport-sized photograph and their signature as per the format specified by the NTA. The signature should match with the signature of the applicant in Class 10 and Class 12 certificates. Once the scanned documents are uploaded, the applicants can review their application form by clicking on the review button. After review, they can proceed with the payment options.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are advised to check the JEE Main eligibility criteria published by the exam conducting authority. Usually, the criteria are kept the same for all sessions. There is no age limit for the JEE Main exam. The students who belong to the general category should have secured 75% marks in the 12th-grade exam. 65% marks are needed for those belonging to reservation categories. 

Since the competition level of JEE Main is very high, students need to work hard to clear this exam. Through regular revision and proper planning, one can clear this exam.
